CALIFON FIRST AID SQUAD
Califon First Aid Squad is an all volunteer, non profit, life saving organization in service since 1956 whose primary mission is to provide Basic Life Support to the residents of Califon and surrounding areas. With over 68 years of dedicated service we currently operate out of our station at 107 Bank Street. We operate two Basic Life Support Ambulances as well as four Emergency Responder Bicycles - our Bike Team. We provide a free service to all Califon residents and all who pass through our small town.
Emergency Medical Technicians
Most of our members are Emergency Medical Technicians, certified by the NJ Department Of Health. EMTs have completed the necessary course time which teaches them everything about pre-hospital care from administering emergency medical medications to childbirth.
