CALIFON FIRST AID SQUAD
Califon First Aid Squad is a volunteer non-profit agency. We have been in service since 1956 and provide emergency medical care to the residents of Califon Borough and surrounding areas. We operate with two Basic Life Support Ambulances as well as four bicycles - our Bike Team. We provide a free service to all Califon residents and those who pass through our small town.
Emergency Medical Technicians
Most of our members are Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), certified both by the NJ Department Of Health and at the national level (NREMT). All EMTs have completed the necessary course time and clinical experience which teaches them everything about pre-hospital care from administering emergency medical medications to childbirth.
